it wouldn't be hard to get such a picture. This wasn't the first time this year when he's raved like a lunatic. The man has lost it, and he's a mainstream Democrat. Hell, he was your nominee 3 years ago. The thought of that man coming within a mile of the nuclear trigger is scary.
There was some controversy last week about the Republicans' "Coalition of the Wild Eyed" video on their website. I think they nailed it. You're on the side of the loons, and your daily bodycount wetdreams make you appear that you're one of them. It doesn't surprise me that you like Moore's crockumentary, either.
The Democrats' dementia isn't just the lunatic fringe like DemocratUnderground or MoveOn.org. It's becoming a significant percentage of the mainstream, as Washington Post William Raspberry admitted last week:
But why did the mostly liberal crowd at last week's Washington premiere--people who like to think of themselves as thoughtful and fair-minded--applaud so unrestrainedly?
They applauded, I suspect, for much the same reason so many members of the black Christian middle-class applaud the harangues of Black Muslim minister Louis Farrakhan. Some of his facts may be wrong and some of his connections strained, but his attitude is right. What's more, he'll say in plain language what nice, educated people cannot bring themselves to say: The man is a devil.
Andrew Sullivan did a good job of fisking Raspberry over that column.
