Your list of similarities is bogus.

Here are some more "similarities":

Lincoln was born poor and remained poor; Kennedy was born rich and remained rich.

Lincoln never attended college; Kennedy went to Harvard.

Lincoln was faithful to his wife; Kennedy was very promiscuous.

Lincoln was never in the military; Kennedy served in the US Navy.

Lincoln ran for the Senate from Illinois, not his birth state (Kentucky); Kennedy ran from Massachusetts, where he was born.

Lincoln and his wife were homely; Kennedy and his wife were good-looking.

Lincoln's son's life was saved by the brother of his assassin; Oswald's family had nothing to do with Kennedy.

Lincoln was shot in the spring; Kennedy was shot in the fall.

Lincoln was a Protestant; Kennedy was a Roman Catholic.

Lincoln was a Republican; Kennedy was a Democrat.

There are MANY, MANY, more.
