I still remember the flowers strewn by the Left in front of Jeffords when he bailed out on the Republicans.

His reasoning was declared as a noble victory of principles over party loyalty. Among liberals, the man was a god.

And the "independent" bullshit didn't fool anybody for a second.

Interesting how he fell into a black hole when his vote became irrelevant to keeping Democrats in power in the Senate.
