I heard an interesting factoid last night
According to one of the talking heads, some 450,000 Americans now make their living selling stuff on eBay. I don't know if this is true or not, nor do I know whether they're actually making a good income or if this is something they're doing to scrape by, but it is interesting.
None of these jobs show up on the payroll survey numbers released today. These, and thousands of other self-employment jobs, are only reflected in the household survey.
