The leftists are losing it. The desperate tone in the posts here and the unmasked hostility is quite disturbing. The Kerry disaster is causing folks on the left to act similarly to the bystanders who saw the Hindenburg catch flame and who felt completely useless in stopping the tragedy--they run around senselessly shouting and lose any semblance of self-control.

We have Don here who heralds the US death toll repeatedly, and in single digit increments, in the belief that announcing each death bolsters his political viewpoints. This, mockery of grief which incorporates a political message, is the most crass and reprehensible form of political exploitation. Others here (Bowser, Chris, etc.) are posting every bit of negative news frantically. They, too, now must look for others misery to further their own political cause.

How sad is that?

Islamofascists have just slaughtered 320 (as of the time I write this) that's 1/3 of the deaths that a poster here has been heralding every chance they get, as if the grim reaper was a Democrat and each death was a victory over the GOP.

And these 320 lives were lost in a single day in a single terrorist action.

To an intelligent and reasonable mind this illustrates just how many deaths the Islamofascists can inflict upon innocents in the shortest time period.

This concerns rational folks. Folks see that the Middle East and the Islamofascist mercenaries they send to foreign lands to kill innocents are the threat to peace--not the President of the United States, George Bush.

The NY Times calls these killers 'Guerillas', never terrorists. Michelle Malkin has reported on this leftist slant very nicely.

Why is Islamofascism so acceptable to the left? Why are 320 deaths of Russian women and children, who never signed up as Islamofascist targets, so less important than a US soldier who signs up to fight and die for his country--dying at the hands of these same Islamofascists?

What sick, perverted hatred of America, the GOP and one's neighbors is required to make the left sympathize with the Islamofascist point of view?

That's a question only the leftists here can truly answer, but I'll take a crack at it anyway because the left is so dishonest with themselves that it may help to have someone shine a light on their distortions.

The left personalized the Gore loss. Oh yeah, bigtime. To them when Gore gave his concession speech it was as if they were giving a concession speech. It was personal and an ego deflation. Like losing a game of chess they have sulked, moped and bitterly detested this loss as if it was their own. They invested their whole ego structure into the 2000 election struggle and now they want to win at any cost--yes at ANY cost.

If islamofascists kill Americans and this can be twisted to make Bush look bad, then they subconsciously rejoice when these terrorists strike at ourt troops because it helps defeat Bush and restore their ego. That's digusting of course but that is exactly what is happening.

The anti-Bush faction is composed of folks whose egos have been deflated, who carry around this imaginary burden as a real yoke.

Sadly, that's the same reason Islamofascists can kill innocents - to avenge their bruised egos and make themselves feel more powerful. Killing others boosts their ego and gives them mental rewards based upon religious delusions.

SO...when an anti-Bush leftist kicks a plainclothes policeman in the head until they are near death, each leftist here better realize that they are maybe one or two anti-Bush hysteria notches away from the same sort of behavior. Why? Because they have emotionally vested themselves with a party and a candidate in an attempt to translate this party's victory into something to bolster their own inferiority complexes and ego deflations--many the result of that 2000 election battle. It is telling that no conservatives beat to near-death anyone at the DNC convention.

Ego is the betrayer. Islamofascists manipulate the fragile egos of their children to turn them into suicide bombers.

The lesson the left should learn from the beating in New York and the Russian tragedy and Islamofascism:

Don't let your own ego deflations be the cause of further harm to innocents. When others have to suffer so you can feel good about yourself - that's a real bad sign.
