The main objective of a uniform is to be able to identify who's who during a game. I played football for a lot of years and some of the guys would wear a spandex long sleeve shirt under their short sleeve game jersey and some wouldn't, but the undershirt had to match the color of the uniform. Also, some of the guys would wear their socks up or down which ever they preferred. As long as everything worn were team colors there wasn't a problem. So basically some of the guys were completely covered and some weren't but we were all wearing the same colors.
Same would apply to this girl. The way I see it, as long as her uniform looked exactly like a regular uniform with the exception of being long there shouldn't be a problem. The only problem I see is playing in a hot gym completely covered may be a little uncomfortable.
If she got a scholarship to play at a university she had to have excelled at the high school level first. If so, I wonder how they dealt with it then?
