You forget the lessons of Hitler with regard to appeasement.

So does the whole country of France.

You forget GW1 was a UN sanctioned war that never ended.

You forget Saddams violations of UN resolutions.

You forget France's obstruction of retaliation for Saddam's violations.

Europe doesn't like Bush because he puts US interests above Europe's. Would Europeans vote for leaders of their own countries that put US interests ahead of theirs? Listening to others is a good thing, ignoring what your own people want in favor of public opinion in other countries is not.
