Hey Phil, I like the way you try to distance yourself from the issue. You and Lindy have had this love-hate thing going since the MSNBC days, and in contrast to RL's serious attacks, watching you two spit and snarl is sometimes kinda cute. Have I ever chastised you for periodically dissing Lindy?
It's the dead seriousness of RL's attacks that gets to me, not only with Lindy but with other people in the recent past. With RL there's a pattern of focusing all his negative energy on one person, clamping his jaws like an epileptic pitbull and never letting go. He seems to need a punching bag to work out whatever demons have been haunting him, and that I just won't tolerate. Nobody here will be whipping boy (or girl) for anybody else.
If RL can't comment on blithering idioiotic positions
He can. That's not the issue--it's one of style rather than substance. There's a right way and a wrong way to comment on another person's positions, and I think RL goes far beyond "comment" into the world of attack.
