Maybe, just maybe, it helps to convince the Iraqis that we arent there for the oil, or for empire building, or for suppression of the Muslim faith.
I know we aren't there for that, you know it too. There are plenty of Iraqis who arent convinced.

But again, you seem to think the whole speech was about more international cooperation and ignore the rest.
