Make up your mind.
For the past 18 months you have been trumpeting the "Coalition of the willing" as showing the broad worldwide support Bush has. Now you say that collective action is irrelevant?
Which is it?
I make no claims that more meaningful cooperation (face it, other than British troops, some Aussies and Poles there ain't a hell of lot else there) would definitely result in less deaths.
It make make a difference for the reasons I put in the post above. It may not.
There may be more troops on the ground, that may result in more control.
The cost and the casualties would be more spread. That may not make a difference to you, but I suspect it would to most Americans, to know that you're not the only ones getting killed and injured.
Whose fault is it that pledged support isnt forthcoming? IMHO, that blame lies at the feet of the White House. Antagonizing our allies doesn't seem to be working does it?
You have no more proof that Kerry will cut and run than Novak does about Bush. On the other hand, I've seen what a f-up this administration has been so far and have zero confidence they have any clue how to get it right........

- Best Speech Kerry's made in a long while
- Just out of curiosity...If Kerry wants the help of other nations, why is his campaign trying to talk Australia into leaving the coalition? (n/t)
- He keeps claiming he can get other nations to help...
- Boiled down...
- Kerry believes in the tooth fairy
- the question is, can he stay on message for the next 43 days?
