Can still remember Minnesota senator Hubert Humphrey being proudly introduced as "Hubert Horatio Hornblower." A little research reveals the flubber to be Jimmy Carter.

I have caught myself in several of these while typing, and if I wasn't slightly anal about proofreading, I'd probably be doing a lot worse than Ed in that department.
