Guantanamo ain't exactly training folks in how a civilized nation treats captives, now is it?
If I weren't a "terrorist" going in, I would be coming out.
And the guy was released. Clearly there wasn't a shred of evidence against him.
Other ways of creating "terrorists" are to bomb their families, shoot their relatives, invade their country, jail their parents, arrest their kids to hold as hostages, torture their neighbors.
While doing all that sounds tough, it has consequences. Understandable consequences, logical consequences, inevitable consequences.
There is accountability after all, I guess.
