Bowser is holding the US to a higher standard than one demonstrated by the Nazis. He says that to confine people with no lawyer and no trial and little outside contact and confirmed "interrogation" tactics that would not be allowed under our own criminal code as a violation of the "cruel and unusual punishment" clause in our own Constitution for an indefinite period is barbarous.

I have no problem with this.

I think we ought to hold ourselves to higher standards than the Nazis.
