I personally can't fathom leaving the US for a socialist system, but it may actually be good for you. Sometimes one has to wait in lines for hours, be refused medicine and treatment, wait weeks and sometimes months for mail that in the US could be delivered in days and realize seeing the happy, smiling American face is a rarity in the rest of the world. (maybe even your neighborhood in the Twilight Zone)
Eventually, you might even realize socialism is the true neanderthal and the people who live under it are more often than not: Unsmiling and whiny complainers. It's something about the "do it for me!" system that breeds them by the millions.
Then again you may actually like that too.
