"Increase in Iraq force is likely" - Probably 'cause we're winning.
BAGHDAD, Nov. 21 - Senior U.S. military commanders in Iraq say it is increasingly likely they will need a further increase in combat forces to put down remaining areas of resistance in the country.
Didn't need 'em before the election, 'cause we were winning then, too. Allawi told Congress, in remarks prepared by the White House, that Iraq was peaceful.
And we recently heard the insurgency was "broken".
