They weren't "insurgents", and we weren't picking them off and dropping 500 lb. pound bombs in their midst. Then they were Sadam loyalists and we just looked the other way. Oh, did I mention we supplied Sadam with a poisonous chemical to gas the Kurds?
Then they helped run the country.
There were hospitals, schools, food supplies, marketplaces AND employment. And look what we have to done to them........bringing them "democracy".
Thing is, we don't really know when to STOP.
