Public radio is an obvious choice for the environmental angle, and as a public interest story. But talk radio might respond to the energy independence thing, as well.

You are, of course, absolutely right about political influence. It's who you know first, followed by what you know.

I'm ashamed of myself, to have forgotten TV! Someone here recently suggested that I need to watch more of it. If I've forgotten about it, maybe I should.
