The Democrats were only petitioning to do in King County what the Republicans had already done in Republican counties elsewhere in the State. This obvious hypocrisy on their part was not lost on the Court. All the Ds were asking for was for the recount in King County to be done the same way it was done in other counties, which is why they won their case.
