This is actually the exact same news as last week, discussing the memos acquired by the ACLU (which can be read for yourself here.)

For God's sake, read the memos yourself. Separate the media hype from the source. Think about the source material, and who's saying what. If you're going to take the word of attorneys working for the detainees as the word of Truth, you don't have much discernment. I'd bet money not one person here has looked through these memos. Why not, when MSNBC can tell you what to think?

Do you think all of these prisoners are telling the absolute truth? Why? Other than the drooling eagerness to see the American military take on on the chin?

I also notice that once again the term "torture" has been so broadly defined--at this point indicating pretty much anything that makes a prisoner physically uncomfortable or causes mental anxiety--that the term now has no working meaning.

Prisoners shackled to a floor! What next?
