Once it has been determined that the prisoners are NOT protected persons, the Geneva Conventions no longer apply to them. In short, they are NOT protected by any international law. They are NOT prisoners of war, since they do not carry their weapons openly. They are simply ours to do with as we wish, and we do. Tough! We treat them EXACTLY like they treat their prisoners, which they richly deserve.

Note: We treated captured Iraqi soliders during the war in strict accord with the Geneva Conventions. All of them have now been freed, except for a handful in Iraqi custody awaiting criminal charges dating from the previous regime.
