Stars in the back round of space in an Apollo photo?

I'm presuming you've seen some multi-generation reproduction
of an Apollo photo, that has white dots on it. Since I don't know why or when those dots were added, I can't really explain them, but why should I? The originals don't have those white dots. Get used to it.

As badastronomer and his running dogs have explained, the f-stop and exposure for the film in the Apollo hand-held cameras could never capture stars, on the moon or on Earth. Use your own camera. Set it to the Apollo exposures for equivalent asa film. Go outside on a starry night and expose all the film to the sky. There won't be any stars on your film.

WHO ERASED THEM?
