If you want to understand this, look at the difference in the price of a staple such as gold and the price change just this past year in terms of the dollar (no significant change) and the Euro (gold up $ 30.E).

Bush and his Green boy have conspired to pay off the excesses of his tax cut and war with cheap dollars by presiding over a massive deflation of US currency. Today GM said profits will drop for the quarter. Watch Japan do a tap dance on Ford by attacking their market share of truck production. When you see China exporting passenger cars to the US, collect Ford signs. Antiques and momentos are always valuable.
