re: And the Democrats would do exactly what about this?

In the citrus business there is a saying: "the most important thing to put in an orange grove is the owners foot steps." I don't pretend to speak for all Democrats, but for one I would reign in multi-national corporations by reducing their subsidy positions and work on eliminating corporate welfare.

Corporations that find it necessary to reduce their costs by outsourcing should have to pay taxes of the profits they squirrel away in off shore bank accounts. The income from these corporations should be used to provide incentives to corporation that create jobs in this country.

Domestic corporations should be helped by getting the government to address the runaway health care system and outlandish insurance industry.

There are a million things that need be done and the common element is they should be done to benefit Americans and domestic American business--not the multi-national corporations--not the outsourcing process--not just the fat cat investors.

America, doing business in America, and working in America all should the focus points addressed by government.
