Interesting.
Apparently Florida has a law which actually prohibits localities from enacting bag bans, so the only option left is a state ban.
This law is stupid. It takes one of many issues that should be decided locally, and forces it into uniform state control.
I may bitch about my city ban, but at least it's at a level where if I wanted to, I could go downtown to a meeting and make a stink about it and maybe I will. I wish a lot more things operated at this level.
