A state senator in Florida is proposing a ban like this, too.
When it passes, you'll grumble, but obey. After all, like so many similar rules--light bulbs, drink sizes, trans fats--there's some inconvenience and expense but no real harm, right?
After a while, compliance with arbitrary rules made by political leaders and bureaucrats becomes almost second nature, and the idea of government controlling things at even the most trivial level not only becomes acceptable to the citizen, but any alternative becomes unimaginable.
I'm sorry, did you have a question?
