Dean is right: it's one fine piece of racist, sexist writing. Also anti-Catholic and whitheringly anti-European (who of course know nothing about democracy, having invented it), but never mind. Everyone is entitled to his opinion.

One observation about his admiration for "hard men": the Irish know a group they call "the hard men". It's the IRA.
