Enough to go around.
The human rights groups and others routinely quoted figures of up to 5,000 children a month dying in Iraq under sanctions while Saddam's regime funneled the money away intended to care for them, bribing eager sycophants along the way.
For a good time, count up how many months at those rates that it takes for sanctions to have killed as many people as the 100,000 Iraqi deaths currently being laid at America's doorstep. How many years were those sanctions in effect while the food money flowed into palaces and bank accounts in other nations?
Spare me the virtuous air of superiority. There's a lot of blood to go around.
