This is an argument you cannot win with the facts. The fact is the election only happened because of Bush's leadership.
The Euros, the UN, and much of the DNC said they could not be held at all. Carter, the great election watcher, said they should not be held.
They were held becuase Pres. Bush stayed the course. And the Iraqi people gave the election naysayers the (blue)finger.
The terrorists are now at war with democracy, a strategic blunder that dooms them even faster than I had hoped possible.
