Not exactly accurate
Terri Schiavo has no cerebral cortex. In its place is a dark gooey stew of spinal fluid. She has no physical capcity of consciousness, thought or memory. Her brain can only run the autonomous body functions. In essence, she' like big slab of living meat without a mind. She has less self-awareness than an insect. And she will never recover from this state.
