I have to confess that I've not been paying much attention to this thing. It is my understanding there's nothing in her head but spinal fluid. She has just enough brain stem to keep her autonomic functions going but has no consciousness. Most hospices have living corpses with brains destroyed by severe strokes. These unfortunate people live or die depending on their family's willingness to pay the big medical bills for their upkeep. Probably hundreds of these people are "euthanized" everyday (you can't really euthanize a corpse). It's extremely tragic but also a fact of life.
