They might be a lack of scientists spending any of their time arguing with people who enthralled with their psendo science.
But the evidence is pretty clear that past computer models were wrong nor is there much confidence that present computer models predicting the future will be much better. Very expensive and complex video games are not very compelling as evidence. They could be said to be helpful and useful in process of understanding global climatic change, but there are computer models of thing like supersonic airplane design which have a lot less variables than the climate of the entire planet, and these are not that reliable- you certainly wouldn't dump say 10 billion dollars in building a design without other ways of validating the design.
There is NO evidence anywhere of human activity ever causing 1 C increase in global temperature, nor is there any evidence of CO2 from human emission causing say .5 C increase in global temperature. The only place where you will find this evidence is in past predicts which were proven wrong, or in computer programs which create "hockey sticks". Or in the "hope" that increases in global temperatures are hidden in such places as oceans or glacier "posed" on the verge of revealing them selves in unexpected ways. Or in other words pure bunk.
