I thought my response was directly addressing a point you were making. If you don't like bringing up Clinton to counter your claims tough. Ignoring the Clinton administrations actions, beliefs, and statements, is why so many Democrats now have so little credibility with so many independents like me and many strong defense Democrats like Gary. It makes them sound like the liars who like to call other people liars. They're lyers and pathetic at the same time because they are so obvious. Sorry if I misunderstood your point, but your subsequent comments seem along the same bush lied theme to me.
The difference between an intelligence case and a political one is that no matter how convinced you are about an intelligence conclusion it doesn't mean that conclusion will motivate political action on the part of Congress or the public. Given that Saddam's noncomplience was a concern for over a decade without significant response, any politician in their right mind should have wondered whether they had a politicaly palitable case for going to war based on wmd. I'm saying that you should look at context carefully to determine whether the weak case comments you were referring to applied to the actual data or the political case for war.

Mark
