I should have included the fact that I get my Space news here in the Zone...
I don't mind admitting that my choice of sources is as much from convenience as for any other reason. The local NPR affiliate plays classical music in the hours between Morning Edition and All Things Considered (which, unless you listen online, may be as unfamiliar to an Aussie as the BBC World Service is to most Yanks) -- and the best thing is, there are no advertisements.
I loathe commercial radio.
The local evening news comes on twice here, at 5 and 6 pm, bracketing the national network news. As I said, NBC stays on because their local affiliate has the best weather forecasts.
Bias, of course, is in the eye of the beholder. If I want background, I start with Google and look for primary sources. If I want recognizable spin, I come to the Zone.
