re: Pretty much nailed my position
Well I voted against Gore and Bush because I thought both were lame. Since I preferred Bush and AL was going Bush no matter what I cast a protest write vote for John McCain. I was merely comparing Clinton and Bush accomplishments during their terms. I did not mean to imply Clinton accomplished this single handedly. I firmly believe surplusses during Cklinton's terms were due to congressional stalemate as much if not more than Clinton's Perot inspired belief in keeping deficits down.
