The Democrats aren't going to do much better in elections until they figure out that their standard playbooks aren't working the way they used to. I'm hearing stuff that's word for word what I heard when Nixon was President, never mind Reagan.

Assuming the Republican candidates don't show up in photos on the front page of the New York Times having sex with a goat, it's entirely possible that the Republicans are going to pick up at least one more seat in the Senate. Maybe more. Even Byrd is in some hot water right now.

What are you going to blame THAT on? Voting machines?

The Voice of the Democrats right now is Howard Dean, Ted Kennedy, and pretty much the entire Left Wing of the party. People like Lieberman are outside, with faces pressed against the window. The DLC doesn't even get to look in the window.

Good Lord, where are you when HILLARY is considered the "moderate?"

I don't know what books you and Mary Anne have been reading where you find the true voice of the Democratic Party. How about some titles?
