If legislation is required to get them off their butts to start doing something, and that constitutes a reduction in choice and freedom, bring it on.

Ah, let's legislate away peoples' "choice and freedom" because we, the elite intelligensia know what's better for them and are eager to punish folks for unapproved attitudes. Why am I not surprised?
