When a party ignores it's past leaders belief that Iraq had WMD and tries to push for a case of deliberate falsehood they deserve the scorn that results.
They also deserve immense ire and anger from their constituents for weakening their ability to deal with real issues. The Democrats are lying in the middle of the road and waiting to be run over instead of fighting Bush on scads of real issues.
What is going on that politicians can't admit mistakes at least to themselves and move on (Dems terrorism, Iraq-sanctions; Republicans Schiavo). Beating dead horses seems to be an over whelmingly favorite political past time these days rather than actually getting something done.
