Hi All
This reminds me of a joke.
A lady walks into a vet surgery holding parrot in her hands lying flat on its back.
"Doc can you tell me what's wrong with my bird?" she asks plaintively.
The vet has a look and gives the bird a prod. Deciding to avoid a parrot sketch the vet bluntly says, "I'm sorry to tell you this, but it's dead."
"Oh no!" the owner cries, "Are you sure? Can't you do some tests?"
The vet motions to the examination table and the lady gently lays down the bird.
Then from a side door the vet brings in a tabby cat and places it on the table. The cat sniffs the bird from top to tail, looks at the the vet and "meows" and runs off into the other room.
With that the vet goes into another room and brings back a gorgeous black labrador, who hops onto the table as well. The dog sniffs the bird from top to tail, nudges it with his nose and looks at the vet sadly, as only a lab can.
The dog leaves and the vet sits at a computer terminal and prints out the bill. Looking at the lady, the vet hands her the bill, "It's conclusive. The bird is stone cold dead."
The lady looks at the bill, and says irately "You're charging me $120 to just tell me that?"
"No. The diagnosis cost $20. The rest is for the CAT scan and the LAB report."
