I said clothes often project the image we want to project, not what is.
However, had I passed you on the street, or standing at a corner where there was time to ponder, I would have arrived at some conclusions.
From the monocular on your hip I would have known you are a farseeing individual. From the flip-flops I would have known you were used to the comforts of life, such as a level, smooth walking area. Probably from the presumed cost of your expensive clothing I would have assumed you shopped at Goodwill.
I'd know you moved around a lot by the lack of gang graffiti on your shirt. Watching your eyes carefully take in your surroundings, I'd have assumed you were on the run, probably for some white collar crime.
Your confident approach to merchants, waitresses and the like would tell me you are comfortable with other people, probably could talk them out of their life's savings. Investing in tuna belly futures or the like.
The fact that your shorts were yellow in front and brown in the back would tell me you traveled a lot to remote areas, and had trouble finding "facilities". I'd assume you had been on the run, so to speak.
See? There's a lot of information there. :-)

- In Florida, everything that happened on both sides of the confrontation was perfectly legal.
- It sounds like you're really looking forward to that "psychotic destruction" part.
- Do you suppose it would have happened had there been no concealed carry?
- This whole case wouldn't even have made the national news under normal circumstances.
