False Argument
I purposefully did not make such a claim because I agree there is no rational to link them. My point is that the tax cutters claim government spending is a big anchor on economic growth. Prove it. The fact is government has grown because new programs have been implemented that people wanted. In a Democracy we have a right to have the programs we want. We also have the right to argue whether those implemented actually work and whether they are cost effective. There are real numbers out there that no one ever bothers to dig up because lame brained journalists would rather speak in generalities and platitudes than do math.
