Don't know the evidence to the contrary as historically the Kennedy tax cuts, Reagan tax cuts et. al. all raised revenues. It's of course a curve with diminishing returns. So far we have not kneed over. Time to eliminate taxation of dividends (a double taxation) and cut the cap gains rate again to 10% and see if it raises revenue or goes too far. My bet - raises revenue.
