I talk to lots of people in a year about space and space policy. Many of them are those twenty somethings you think where so deeply effected by Deep Impact and Armageddon. They are worried about their family and protecting them against terrorists not rocks from space. As to dinosaurs and their interest in them...they also are into dragons and other monsters. We live in the very science facts that was science fiction, Ed. You have both Mark and I years older than we are...maybe your age?
Anyway your twenty somthings hear the science news that says dinosaurs were not killed off by a comet or asteroid just as they hear that dinosaurs were and it's noise in their lives not clear not focused.
You don't understand people, Ed. The evidence is clear and before you, but you don't want to see it.
