I am a parent.

I get reality.

Of course my kids thought they were *enslaved* as teen agers. They are growing out of the fantasy phase of their existence.

My goal, as a parent was and still is, to teach them to be responsible to themselves, for themselves. Life lessons are best learned when one overcomes the fear of one's own limitations.

Am I being trite? I have always said I suck at debate. Q.E.D. ( did I use that right?)
