....why would an advanced civilization trample wheat fields in the summer in order to communicate with humanity when they could just as easily talk to us year round. Heck, if they really want to communicate that badly, why not book with Larry King Live?
Virtually every crop circle ever "documented" and "investigated" was made by a human being. Claims about so-called "magnetic and nodal anomalies" don't bear repeating because they don't hold up under real unbiased scrutiny.
I know some of the people who make these things. They get a terrific kick out of watching people such as yourself "oooh" and "aaah" over their creations as if some mysterious and spiritual being made them.
I am especially amused about this guy Levengood who once claimed that iron filings placed in a crop circle sample sent to him for "analysis" were from outer space. Instead they were bought from a local hobby shop and sprinkled in the formation by the people who trampled the design in the first place.
Even the most complex designs require only a few simple tools and just some basic knowledge of geometry. Nowadays, the ropes, ladders and planks have been augmented with laser pointers, transits and pocket gps devices making the art circlemaking even more fun and provocative.
