By the way...there are no crop circle "anomalies" so there is nothing to explain. Blown and elongated nodes are natural conditions, not anomalies.
Oh...and by the way,,,there have actually been several video productions done for the Discovery Channel and National Geographic showing us precisely how these things are made. I am sorry you've never had a chance to see these.
As for there being no "practice designs" that's principally because these things are so easy to do with a modicum of good planning and a crew of about six hardy souls, practice isn't required. Its simply not that hard.
The only reason you think these things are impossible for people to make is because you don't know how to make them yourself. On the other hand, I do. Its not rocket science.
