We've drifted pretty radically off-topic, to an unfortunate place where your blood pressure's up. Sorry about that. I reviewed this branch of the thread, and, with hindsight, saw how we drifted. It was two steps ago that I last mentioned the "war on terror", but neglected to mention it in the next post, and references to Iraq abound. That's unfortunate, because "the plan" I was referring to was an overall strategy to win the WOT, of which Iraq is but one component. Iraq is an important component, because it was a calculated move and not a reaction, and thus I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how invading Iraq advances us toward victory. But I am aware of the local strategy in Iraq, and I'm sorry you felt you had to take the time to review it.

Probably can't salvage this thread after souring it, but we've talked about The Plan before and I'm sure we'll talk about it again. Let's call this game on account of rain, eh?
