They took simple uneducated primitives and transplanted them to Paris, then warehoused them in run down buildings. While this may indeed make the average liberal's heart feel warm and smug for lifting their perceived share of the White man's burden, how did it actually help any of these people? It kind of reminds me of how European explorers back in the 1500s would bring back foreign peoples to be paraded around and gawked at. These people are nothing more than a modern day sideshow for the jaded intelligentsia of Europe.
