The storm surge had passed, the eye wall was long gone when the levee failed due to water topping it, eroding the backside, and hydraulically shifting it. You are factually incorrect. Why should I listen to anything you have to say? Look it up. I'll be right here waiting for you.

Hint: What day and time did the eye strike in the NOLA region? What day and time did the Levee fail from being topped? This isn't a particularily challenging question. Look it up.
