Eating disorders and body image

Eating disorders were rare before. The biggest eating disorder was not having enough to eat.

Fashion dolls are part of this problem. Fashion magazines continue it. Body image as sold to girls by plastic dolls and airbrushed models create artificial expectations that cannot be met by real people.

If Katie has escaped this, I'm glad. As a man, though, how much of your time have you spent listening to your classmates, your friends and your colleagues obsessing not only about their weight, but also about how big their pecs were and how much cellulite they had?
