That election solved squat, didn't it.
Doesn't unify the country, isn't a framework for governing, essentially splits Iraq into three.
And while doing that, it put off the big issues for later.
What it DID do is score a propaganda victory for US conservatives, who do not care about reality but about how they can make things look.
